Providing free diabetes and blood pressure testing services in 456 health centers
Chancellor of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences announced the activities of 83 comprehensive health service centers and 373 health centers covered by this university in line with the implementation of the national health campaign and screening of high blood pressure and diabetes.
Dr. Javad Shahinfar on Monday, December 13th, in an interview with Webda news site, said: due to the high importance of preventing high blood pressure and diabetes, the national health campaign has started on November 20th in the areas covered by this university.
Since the beginning of the National Health Campaign, 717 health care workers have been working in comprehensive health service centers, health centers, and provide blood pressure and blood sugar measurement services for free.
He stated: We seek to identify suspicious people by measuring blood pressure and blood sugar once, so that we can effectively treat these people after identification, and with continuous and active follow-up through health care workers who are in The family health program and the referral system are working to monitor, track and control people's illnesses.
